However, for health and safety reasons, children under the age of 12 are not permitted to dine in our courtyard seating area due to trip hazards and the layout of the space.Families wishing to dine outdoors are welcome to use the seating area at the front of our venue, which is suitable for children.

At Smiths, all of our burgers are cooked to a minimum core temperature of 75°C, in line with UK food safety guidance.We use premium dry-aged beef sourced from our trusted butcher, and our burgers are carefully crafted to remain juicy, tender and full of flavour even when cooked to this temperature. This approach allows us to deliver a consistently delicious burger while maintaining the highest standards of food safety for every guest.

We always advise booking for evenings as it can be very busy on the weekends.

Yes, we welcome walk-ins for both lunch and dinner.Lunch: Due to the busy nature of the restaurant, walk-in guests should be prepared for a wait of 30 minutes to upwards of an hour during peak periods.Our team will always do their best to seat you as soon as possible.Dinner: We also accept dinner walk-ins, although availability can be limited, particularly when outdoor seating is unavailable due to poor weather.To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend booking in advance whenever possible.

Yes of course, we will always check with the kitchen what the wait time will be before taking your order. Please expect longer waits at peak times between 6.30-8.30pm.
